To Strut-N-Rut
"I can't believe it" said an excited 15 year old Madison. "I shot an 8 point buck!" Madison is a young lady with familial dystonia. Dystonia despite many efforts to make things better, still grips solidly to Madison's whole body. Dystonia is a neurological disorder that causes involuntary muscle movements that can be very painful. Madison was so excited when she got a phone call from Strut-n-rut Outdoor adventures saying that they were granting her the wish to go deer hunting. With the help of Jon and Jason and a wonderful guide Whitney the trip was very successful. Madison and her legal guardians drove to Three Rivers Michigan to Willow Lake Hunting Lodge.
We were treated like Royalty with Madison being a star. The owners of the Lodge, Woody and Pam and their whole family were very accommodating for the entire stay. All of their grown children and grandchildren came to the lodge to meet Madison making her feel so very special. They all had to come out to see Maddy's buck and hear her tell her story. (This lodge would be highly recommended for any hunter.
Strut-n-Rut Outdoor Adventures gave Madison gifts of a camouflage shirt, hat and even a camouflage Bible. Her whole being beamed. Without Strut-n-Rut and their sponsors this young lady probably would never have had this experience. Not only to go hunting but to meet new friends who are truly friends of a lifetime.
